Back 2 Basics Education Support Centre established in 2009 in Brentwood Park Benoni and has been educating students since its inception. Many of our students have managed to catch up their delayed development and have successfully returned to mainstream schooling as top achievers.
We use multi-level teaching methods and our classes are eight students per teacher. In the spirit of true education, we recognize that each student has their own unique challenges and is capable of reaching their full potential given the correct support and environment.
Our education is based on fundamental principles, ensuring a solid educational foundation for students to explore, experiment, learn, understand and achieve. Through positive motivation, they taste achievement and enjoy the success of learning. Many students need extra time and individual attention to consolidate facts and build solid foundations.
Back 2 Basics Education Support Centre, is specifically designed for professional and personal tutoring. This all in a relaxed, non-threatening environment which is effective and efficient. We have relocated to a beautiful, tranquil plot, with security and camera surveillance. This is conducive to our natural way of learning.
A vegetable garden on the plot helps students to “ground” and learn about what they should be eating in order to stay healthy. Healthy body and mind are essential for everyone!
Many children are misdiagnosed to be attention deficit disorder or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and are treated using prescription medication, often in error. Coupled with this are the side-effects of the medication which adversely affect the children in various ways. At Back 2 Basics Education Support Centre, we assist children in their learning experience, without the need for medication. We address the cause and begin where the student feels comfortable. Positive changes can happen almost straight away! Our students say they enjoy coming here because they love the feeling of success.
Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
